Allergy Plan

In keeping with our mission, School for Little Children is seeking to provide an environment that is both safe and inclusive for all its children.  If your child has asthma or allergies, please complete Action Plans in collaboration with your health care provider.

Daily snacks:  SLC will provide peanut and tree nut-free snacks for all the classes.   Families are asked to supplement the school snack by providing vegetables, fresh fruit or cheese slices on a rotating basis.  Snack Calendars will be distributed monthly and posted outside each classroom.  If a family is unable to bring in a supplemental snack, SLC has extra supplies on hand.

Lunch & Learn program, all parents are required to refrain from sending lunch foods that contain peanuts or tree nuts in their children’s lunch box.  If you have any doubt about the safety of a food item, please be sure to read the product labels carefully.

Birthdays: Parents/caregivers may provide special paper products to celebrate the occasion (ie: decorative napkins). Special food items cannot be accepted, and we also ask that you refrain from sending in party favors for your child’s classmates.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
